Nourie Beauty Bar

Client Booking & Policy Agreement

Effective October 1, 2026

Welcome to Nourie Beauty Bar. Our goal is to provide every client with a professional, safe, clean, comfortable, and high-quality beauty experience.

Please read these policies carefully before booking an appointment.

Important — client agreement

By booking an appointment, submitting a deposit or payment, or receiving services from Nourie Beauty Bar, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to all policies and terms contained in this Client Booking & Policy Agreement. These policies apply to all clients and all appointments unless Nourie Beauty Bar provides written authorization otherwise.

Booking your appointment

All appointments must be booked through the official Nourie Beauty Bar booking system unless otherwise authorized.

Clients are responsible for:

  • Selecting the correct service.
  • Reading the complete service description before booking.
  • Reviewing the price before booking.
  • Reviewing the required hair preparation.
  • Providing accurate contact information.
  • Reading all booking policies before submitting payment.
  • Arriving prepared and on time.

Booking the wrong service does not guarantee that the correct service can be accommodated during your appointment.

If additional time, hair, products, or services are required, additional charges may apply.

If the requested service cannot reasonably be completed during the scheduled appointment, Nourie Beauty Bar may modify or decline the service and/or require the client to book another appointment.

Deposit policy

A 30% deposit is required to secure your appointment.

Your appointment is not considered secured until the required deposit has been successfully paid.

The deposit reserves your appointment date and time and is applied toward your service balance unless otherwise stated.

Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE except where required by applicable law or when Nourie Beauty Bar determines otherwise.

A deposit may be forfeited if:

  • You cancel outside of the permitted cancellation period.
  • You exceed your one permitted reschedule.
  • You fail to attend your appointment.
  • You arrive too late to reasonably complete the service.
  • You fail to follow required booking or preparation instructions.
  • You provide materially inaccurate information about the service required.
  • You violate Nourie Beauty Bar policies.

Nourie Beauty Bar reserves the right to require a new deposit before another appointment can be booked after a forfeited deposit.

One-time rescheduling policy

Each appointment receives ONE (1) reschedule.

You may reschedule your appointment one time without forfeiting your deposit as long as you provide at least 24 hours' notice.

Your rescheduled appointment must be moved to an available appointment time.

Once your one reschedule has been used, it is USED.

If you need to reschedule the same appointment again:

Your original deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to book another appointment.

The rescheduling allowance does not reset simply because the appointment has been moved.

Example:

  • Original appointment → Reschedule #1: Deposit transfers.
  • Reschedule #2: Deposit is forfeited. New deposit required.

This policy applies even if the client has a legitimate scheduling conflict. Nourie Beauty Bar reserves appointment times specifically for each client and cannot guarantee repeated changes.

Cancellations

A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for cancellations.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may result in forfeiture of the deposit.

Repeated cancellations may result in:

  • Full payment being required before future appointments.
  • Loss of online booking privileges.
  • Refusal of future appointments.

No-show policy

A no-show occurs when a client fails to attend their appointment without providing the required notice.

No-shows will forfeit their deposit.

Nourie Beauty Bar may also require the full service balance or full service price before accepting another appointment.

Repeated no-shows may result in permanent loss of booking privileges.

Late arrival policy

Nourie Beauty Bar provides a 15-minute grace period.

Your appointment begins at the scheduled time — not when you arrive.

If you arrive late:

  • Your service may need to be shortened.
  • Certain portions of the service may need to be removed.
  • A late fee may apply.
  • Your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
  • Your deposit may be forfeited if the appointment must be cancelled because of lateness.

Arriving late does not entitle a client to additional appointment time beyond their scheduled appointment.

Please respect your appointment time and the clients scheduled after you.

Hair preparation policy

Clients are responsible for arriving with their hair properly prepared according to the requirements listed for their specific service.

Additional fees may apply for excessive:

  • Detangling.
  • Product buildup.
  • Matted hair.
  • Knots.
  • Dirt or debris.
  • Hair preparation not included in the selected service.
  • Additional work caused by failure to follow preparation instructions.

If the condition of your hair makes the requested service unsafe, impractical, or impossible to complete properly, Nourie Beauty Bar reserves the right to refuse or modify the service.

Please do not arrive with severely tangled or matted hair unless the service specifically includes detangling.

Hair extensions / client-provided hair

If you are responsible for providing hair, you are responsible for bringing the correct:

  • Hair type.
  • Color.
  • Length.
  • Quantity.
  • Texture.
  • Brand/type requested for the service.

Nourie Beauty Bar is not responsible for problems caused by incorrect, insufficient, damaged, defective, or unsuitable client-provided hair.

If additional hair is needed, the client is responsible for the additional cost.

Nourie Beauty Bar reserves the right to decline installation of hair that is unsuitable, visibly damaged, contaminated, or presents a sanitation or service-quality concern.

Service changes

Once your appointment begins, changes to the originally booked service may not always be possible.

Examples include requesting:

  • A different style.
  • Additional length.
  • Additional density.
  • Additional hair.
  • Additional curls.
  • Additional braids.
  • Additional design work.
  • An entirely different service.

Any approved changes may result in additional charges.

If there is not enough time remaining to complete the requested change properly, you may be required to schedule another appointment.

Pricing & additional fees

Prices listed by Nourie Beauty Bar apply to the services described.

Additional charges may apply when circumstances require additional time, products, hair, preparation, or labor.

Examples include:

  • Excessive detangling.
  • Additional hair.
  • Additional length or density.
  • Additional services.
  • Major changes to the requested style.
  • Late fees.
  • Other disclosed service-related charges.

Clients will be informed of applicable additional charges when reasonably possible.

Prices are subject to change for future bookings.

Payment policy

The remaining balance is due according to the payment instructions provided by Nourie Beauty Bar.

Services must be paid in full before the client leaves the appointment unless otherwise authorized.

Nourie Beauty Bar reserves the right to refuse future appointments when an outstanding balance remains unpaid.

Clients are responsible for verifying their payment amount before completing payment.

Refund policy

Deposits are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or otherwise stated by Nourie Beauty Bar.

Once a service has been performed, refunds are generally not provided simply because a client:

  • Changes their mind.
  • Does not like a particular style preference after approving it.
  • Wants a different length.
  • Wants a different color.
  • Wants a different curl pattern.
  • Decides they no longer want the service.

If you have a legitimate concern about your service, contact Nourie Beauty Bar within 48 hours.

Do not remove, alter, cut, recolor, reinstall, or have another stylist modify the service before Nourie Beauty Bar has an opportunity to evaluate the concern.

Service correction policy

Nourie Beauty Bar wants clients to be happy with their services.

If you believe there is a service-related issue, contact us within 48 hours with photographs when requested.

Corrections are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

A correction is not automatically a refund.

Any correction must be approved by Nourie Beauty Bar before another person alters the original work.

If another stylist, salon, or individual modifies the work before Nourie Beauty Bar evaluates the concern, Nourie Beauty Bar may no longer be able to determine whether the issue resulted from the original service or subsequent alterations.

Hair & scalp conditions

Clients must inform Nourie Beauty Bar of any known hair or scalp condition that may affect the service.

Nourie Beauty Bar may decline or discontinue a service when the condition of the client's hair or scalp presents a safety, sanitation, or service-quality concern.

Services should not be performed over open wounds, significant irritation, or other conditions that may reasonably make the service inappropriate or unsafe.

If you experience significant discomfort or irritation during a service, notify your stylist immediately.

Allergies & product sensitivities

Clients are responsible for informing Nourie Beauty Bar of known allergies, sensitivities, or reactions before services begin.

If you have concerns about a particular product, ingredient, adhesive, extension material, or other substance, notify Nourie Beauty Bar before the service.

Reasonable precautions may be taken, but Nourie Beauty Bar cannot guarantee that an allergic or sensitivity reaction will not occur.

Children & guest policy

To maintain a professional, safe, and comfortable environment:

No extra guests are permitted unless approved in advance.

Children are not permitted unless specifically approved by Nourie Beauty Bar before the appointment.

An unauthorized guest may be asked to leave.

Clients remain responsible for the conduct and safety of any approved guest.

Clients are responsible for their personal belongings.

Nourie Beauty Bar is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or misplaced personal items brought to an appointment.

  • Deliberately disruptive behavior.
  • Threatening chargebacks or payment disputes as a means of coercion.

Nourie Beauty Bar reserves the right to immediately end an appointment when client conduct creates a safety or professional concern.

Depending on the circumstances, the client may remain responsible for applicable charges and may lose future booking privileges.

  • Unapproved guests.
  • Harassment or inappropriate conduct.
  • Failure to make required payments.
  • Repeated policy violations.
  • Circumstances that compromise the safety or quality of the service.

Nourie Beauty Bar does not guarantee that a service will be provided when the circumstances make it unreasonable or unsafe to do so.

Any refund, credit, or deposit treatment will be handled according to the circumstances and applicable law.

Private appointment location

For privacy and security purposes, the complete appointment location may be provided after booking or closer to the appointment.

Clients agree not to publicly post, distribute, sell, share, or otherwise disclose a private appointment address without permission.

Photography & social media

Nourie Beauty Bar may request permission to photograph or record completed hairstyles for portfolio, website, advertising, marketing, and social-media purposes.

Client images will only be used for promotional purposes when appropriate permission has been obtained.

Clients may not photograph or record the stylist, other clients, private areas, or confidential business information without permission.

Chargebacks & payment disputes

If you believe there is an error involving a payment, deposit, or service charge, please contact Nourie Beauty Bar so the matter can be reviewed.

When responding to a payment dispute, Nourie Beauty Bar may provide the payment processor or financial institution with relevant documentation, including:

  • Booking records.
  • Appointment confirmations.
  • Deposit records.
  • Payment records.
  • Client communications.
  • Policy acknowledgments.

Knowingly submitting false information in connection with a payment dispute may result in termination of future booking privileges.

Emergencies & Nourie Beauty Bar cancellations

Nourie Beauty Bar may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment because of circumstances beyond reasonable control, including illness, emergency, severe weather, facility problems, equipment failure, or other unforeseen circumstances.

If Nourie Beauty Bar needs to cancel your appointment, reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule you.

If Nourie Beauty Bar cancels and you do not wish to reschedule, deposit treatment will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances involved.

Policy updates

Nourie Beauty Bar may update its policies, prices, services, and booking requirements at any time.

The applicable policies presented to the client at the time of booking generally govern that appointment, except where otherwise required by law.

Clients are responsible for reviewing the current policies before making future appointments.
